QuickBooks Online Payroll automatically recalculates your tax liabilities after a check is deleted or voided. If you've already made a tax payment, you may end up with an overpayment. Here's what to do. In the left navigation bar, click Employees. Click Paycheck list under the Run payroll button. Don't see a link to the paycheck list? You can also get the paycheck list from (1) Your QuickBooks Online Payroll reports.
Go to Reports in the left navigation bar and then enter 'paycheck list' in the search bar. (2) The employee's profile. Go to Employees in the left navigation bar, click the employee's name, and then click Paycheck list. (3) On individual paychecks. Select the check you want to void or delete. When prompted, select Yes or No. If you're not sure if the paycheck has been cashed or deposited, check with your bank or ask the employee directly. Click the I understand that this action cannot be undone.
Click the Void Paycheck or Delete Paycheck button. If you voided the paycheck, be sure to collect the net amount from the employee.
